What a delight to be back in my home town for the opening night of my second showing at Black Heritage Gallery in Historic City Hall! I had the pleasure of being invited again, along with several other artists, to select pieces to show in gallery for two months. Since there was no show theme, everyone was treated to quite an assortment of works. Gallery shows are always exciting and opening night is even better; being on a Friday evening after work, the locals are eager for a pleasant end to the work week. This time was no exception. The night was clear, turnout was better than expected, and lots of family and some long time friends turned up (including my high school French teacher)! I’m excited already for next time.
